Magento 2 by default does not allow editing product data from the grid. Attributes in the product grid are not properly organized for better management, they are all grouped in one column tab. Many products attribute columns are missed in the grid, such as category, stock/availability, quantity sold, and more.
Also, the default Magento 2 product grid misses the ability to update or add product images/videos directly from the grid. Display related, up-sells, cross-sells assigned to each product. Many product attributes are missing in the filters, and no way to save the current grid editing in a template to re-open it anytime it's needed.

Custom Filters & Grid Templates
Custom Filters – all default and custom product attributes enabled are available in filters options. You can find products per specific category, sort products by image available, and more.
Custom Grid Templates – the extension allows you to create a custom grid template with different settings and change from one template to another. If you have multiple store admins or team member that works on the product grid on the same time, each member can create his template based on the grid settings (filters, columns) and re-use it anytime it's needed.

You can choose the column (attribute) to make editable in the grid. You can edit the default column header name or define your own column header name to appears on the grid.

AJAX Single & Multi-cell – the extension support two modes of editing from the grid: Multiple Cells, Single Cells. You do not need to open each product detail page to update/edit. Instead of that, you can quickly edit product data right from the product grid via two modes: Multiple Cells, Single Cells:
- Multiple Cells: editing multiple cells of different products at the same time, and click the "Save Edits" button to save all cells edited
- Single Cell: edit one cell of a product each time. Also, you can update one or multiple columns of the same product

Display Related, Cross-sells, Up-sells Products In Grid
The extension allows you to display Related, Cross-sell, Up-sell products in a grid in form of child columns, including ID, Thumbnails, Name, Status, SKU, Price data for each related, up-sells, and cross-sells product.
You can choose to display or hide related, up-sells, and cross-sells products in the grid. Specify the max number of related, up-sell, and cross-sell products to display in the grid. Choose the data to display in the grid for each related, up-sell, and cross-sell product such as ID, Thumbnail, Name, Status, SKU, Price
Edit/Update Categories In Grid
With the Magento 2 Product Grid Editor extension, you can easily assign or remove categories of each product right from the product grid.
All selected/assigned categories for the products appear in the grid. This saves a lot of time in case you have to go through each product edit page or category edit page, to update the categories of each product.
Add/Update Product Images and Videos in grid
The Magento 2 Product Grid Editor extension allows you to add or update product images and video right from the grid.
You can make the thumbnail column editable from the grid, and when clicking on the thumbnail from the grid, a modal popup appears where you can remove, upload, update images and videos.

Quantities, Auto-Remove Decimal, Stock Status, Quantities Sold In Grid
Quantities Update – you can update the product quantities in the grid. Also, you can add/deduct product quantity by using the plus/minus sign (eg. 100+30, or 100-30)) from the grid, the extension will be auto-calculated in the grid.
Auto-Remove Decimal From Quantity – by default the product quantities appear in form of decimal in the grid eg. if your product has 100 quantities it will appear as 100.000. You can configure the extension to auto-remove decimal in the quantity column value and so it displays as follow 100 instead of 100.000
Stock Status – you can update the product stock status (In Stock, Out Of Stock) right from the grid. You can extend to auto-update stock status to "In Stock" in the grid when quantity is positive and "Out Of Stock" when quantity is zero or negative
Quantities Sold – you can display the number of products ordered in the grid, to see how many products were sold. You can set conditions to display a Qty of sold products in a grid, for example, you can specify the order status, start date, and end date to count the product as sold.
